All Things Golden 3-5

The Greek letter phi, Φ, represents the golden ratio or golden number. This number shows up in nature, human anatomy, art and architecture. We will explore these various applications of phi and create our own designs using the Golden Ratio and the Fibonacci Sequence.

• Students will learn to identify and approximate the golden ratio.
• Students will learn and to identify and continue the Fibonacci Sequence
• Students will identify applications of both the golden ratios and the Fibonacci Sequence to real life.
